Champions, Tashi Chodak, A.K.A. “The Holy Ghost”

Tashi Chodak abandoned his physical form long, long, ago – meditating his way onto the astral plane as a being of pure spirit, However, on occasion, something happening on Earth calls to him – and he returns to the material world, bearing light into dark places. Sadly, once he returns from unity with the cosmos his cosmic awareness will fade and he will no longer remember exactly why he came.

Tashi is not one of the great warriors, mages, or energy-manipulators of the heroic age – but he is a helpful and inspiring presence, a living ward against demons, and a reasonably capable wielder of spiritual light. When he first manifests on such a “mission” he’ll have Str 8, Dex 18, End 24, and Stun 30; it always takes some time for him to adjust to being a physical being again. He also returns to that state after being “killed”, which is always a bit of a shock.

Tashi’s cheese slices are some of the limitations on his multipower and his treating “new baseline character” as “returning from the dead”. Both are quite convenient for him.

Appearance: The Holy Ghost always appears from the astral plane dressed to suit the “local” notion of a holy man; he has no control over this. He’ll also speak the most common local language. That won’t help him pretend to be a local though; the fact that he’s more-or-less made of solid light is kind of a giveaway.
