Alzharad was an early (and short term) member of the Mandate – a psionic with the ability to “expel the thermal energy from his body” and thus transform into a being of super-tough ice with a corona of flames and formidable powers of fire and ice. Alzharad left the Mandate after a short time (the player made a character they thought was more interesting) to operate as an independent hero. Alzharad was reportedly killed during the Twilight War, but that – like so many reported deaths during that conflict – has never been confirmed.
In action, Alzharad normally appears as a statue made of ice, surrounded by an aura of flames. Under normal circumstances he wears light clothing and sandles, since freezing tends to destroy his shoes and light clothing is easier to maneuver in. He was a pretty effective blaster – but that was pretty much all he did.
